At the 15th CCI Europe Conference in Budapest, the EU4H3I side event gathered survivors, parents, advocates, and professionals to explore how One Health and Brain Health can inform survivorship care. The session highlighted disparities in care, education gaps, and the lack of survivor-specific guidance, advocating for more inclusive, contextual, and precise health strategies.
The EU is at a critical juncture. Rising rates of brain disorders, non-communicable diseases (NCDs), and survivorship challenges — especially among childhood cancer survivors — demand a comprehensive and future-facing health strategy.
Traditional approaches to treating brain disorders often fail to account for individual variability, leading to ineffective treatments and adverse effects.
Climate and health issues are interconnected, both contributing to peace.
